I looked at the valleys
I gazed at the hills
I also had a view of the golden daffodils
As I sat on the grass
a lot of birds flew
and beside me fell a drop of dew
Nearby there was an ewe
grazing the grass that was green and new
It was a gentle white beauty from the farm
and could do no one any harm
I looked into the sky as the stars began to twinkle
Far away, I could hear a church bell tinkle
I went home at night
heard a cricket chirp that gave me a fright
I simply calmed down
and sewed my hat's crown
